First time to use the sous vide on a filet. Cooked it for an hour and half to 105 degrees then seared in cast iron skillet. I think I’m going to like this thing.

Filet is definitely one of the better things you can do with the sous vide.

They were green peppercorns. Crushed dried black peppercorns on both sides of filet with some kosher salt.

Looks good muzzie. Keep us posted on your sous vide cooks. I never was happy with mine and I eventually gave up on it. The best thing I cooked with it was beef. It always looked better than it tasted to me. Pork was pretty good too, but I didnt really see any benefit from the the hot tub. Chicken was what really turned me off on it. It was absolutely terrible
