Spoiled Milk Blueberry Pancakes & Irish Coffee... - 02/17/19 06:38 PM
Never throw out spoiled milk.
We use it for any type of baking. I think we have a gallon of spoiled milk in our fridge that was dated before Christmas. It's great in Irish soda bread for instance.
These pancakes contained:
2 cups baking mix
1 1/3 cup of spoiled milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla (Do no use the fake crap.)
Whisk all that together and grab about a cup or so of blue berries.
Add a little oil to the griddle and start pouring out about 1/4 cup at a time onto the hot grill. Put a few blue berries on each one immediately after you pour on the batter. Flip when they get bubbly.
I made Iced Irish coffee this morning while we were cooking and it was surprisingly good:
Put Ice in a glass and add...
1 shot of 100 proof whiskey
1 shot of Kahlua
1 shot of Irish cream
Top off the glass with cold coffee (Left over from Church ) and stir...
I served the pancakes with Jimmy Dean sausage, real butter and real maple syrup.
