Home made ice cream recipes

I'm wet behind the ear's when it comes to making ice cream . I'm looking for any tips or recipes. I have a batch of strawberry I'm gonna spin when I get home from work tomorrow. Thinking about making some peanut butter this weekend.

Let us know how the peanut butter turns out. Sounds good.

Beat 2 eggs, add 3/4 cup sugar, beat some more.

Add 2 cups of whole cream and 1 cup of milk. Mix.

That's your base.

If doing fruit, mix some sugar and lime zest in it and let it sit in the fridge for an hour or so. Add the fruit and accumulated juice to the ice cream right before it finishes.

I have one somewhere floating around as well, but it's super easy:

2 cans of sweetened condensed milk and any 2 liter bottle of soda.

We've made orange, cream soda (for vanilla), and peach. I imagine strawberry would be good as well.

We did some Father's day and only used these ingredients and it was damn good and pure:

1/2 gallon of half and half
1/2 pint of heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 cups of pure cane sugar
2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract.
1 pinch of salt

Pour all that in an ice cream maker and add salt and ice and let it run until ready.
