And I'm down 45lbs. It hasn't been easy. I've reinjured my arm and shoulder lifting and am gonna have to hold off several months. Also injured a hamstring on a bike. Dang it. But I'm not gonna give up. Hopping to get 20 more by years end.

Stay with it! I lost 60 lbs over about 7 months. Went though several spells of getting injured, encountering plateaus, etc. Keep slowly plugging and one day you'll be at your goal. I'll say its a heck of a lot easier getting around in the woods without that weight on you. And you feel better about yourself to boot. Congrats and I hope to see you post with another 25 off here after while

Stay with it CT! I'm under 200 for the first time in about 8 years. Down to 196 from 238 in January.

AND, I'm completely off BP meds! Measured my BP Thursday and it was 128 over 82.

Good on ya.

Post some recipes. How'd ya do it? Low carb, low overall caloric intake, high exothermic workouts?

TT, I cut out bread, potatos, sweets, anything deep fried. Started eating more fresh fruit and veggies along with smaller portions. Wife is down almost 20 (and believe me she is samll to begin with) because I don't bring fast food home anymore. Wrap a grilled buger in a lettuce, ham roll ups, grilled chicken and other meats, low fat yogurt, apples, cellery with peanut butter, banannas, carrots, protein drinks, fat free milk & cherrios. And I don't eat after 3 PM.

Hang in there TC. I started doing Weight Watchers on my wife's birthday as I enrolled both of us into the program. I started at 274 on April 18th, and today I am down to 252. Doing the points on the app on my iphone makes it much easier for me. Basically, just eat a lot of chicken and fish, salads but with the points, I can splurge at least once a week and have a good steak or some pizza, all the stuff I used to love.
