Nope, the cornbread turned out perfect. I actually made this to prepare a cornbread dressing for Thanksgiving and ended up eating about a fourth of it with honey and butter while it was still hot coming out of the oven.

My wife LOVES sweet corn bread - the yellow kind that comes from the package and tastes like cake. I like white buttermilk cornbread, but I've never met a piece of cornbread that I wouldn't eat
