I was thinking that 935's were factory tapped for some reason????

I would have thought so too,Mine is 9 years old, I'm sure all of the newer guns are,I'm wanting to put an open red dot sight on it but don't want to have to drill and tap if I don't have to.

Everyone I have ever seen has been tapped on the top for a dovetail mount. I'd just pay and have it done if that is what I wanted.

That's what I want, there's a gunsmith up near my club that may be able to hook me up

I'd prolly have it drilled and tapped. I've had the saddle mounts the only advantage to em alot of em have a gap where you can shoot your bead in case of a dot failure.
