Camo a gun - 02/06/24 10:37 PM

I going to try for some birds this year. I have a wooden/bronze cerakote 20 gauge linky. I see picture an most have camoed their pew pews. How important is it really?

Not required. As long as it's not flashy. I like my gun camo for fun but I hunted with a regular gun for years

Wouldn’t even worry about it…

I’ve killed a bunch of em with a wood and blued sxs and a regular wood stocked 870 bud. It is fun to rattle can paint them though. I got some pictures I can text you if you want.

Just be still. The gun won’t be seen.

Having my gun camouflaged has made a big difference. I don’t get picked off like I used to.

If you keep it pointed at them sorry jokers they don’t see nothing but a little black zero…

No difference. Just a personal preference.

I’ve been picked off with my shiny blued O/U 20ga. You should be fine with the bronze cerakote, as long as the wood isn’t glossy.

I’ve killed plenty with all kinds of guns. Some camo some not. I wouldn’t worry about it... Just get out there and have some fun

Honestly, I loaded a few rounds at the range to see if it functioned two years ago. Functioned perfectly. Been sitting ever sense. I hunt in very rocky places and bought it because I knew it would be beat up. I think I paid around $200-250 and was very pleased for the value.
