After hunting some pretty terrible weather days it was nice to have a cool blue bird sky morning. The turkeys on my place gobbled great and I was able to connect with a lonely 2 year old a few minutes before 9am. He almost made a full circle around me spitting and drumming the whole way. I was able to get spun around on the tree and kill him at 30 steps. Nerves kicked in and I hit him low and shot some of his beard off 😂

Doc, I pretty much gave up the wma after they lost about 4000 acres that I had learned like it was my own. I just didn’t have the desire or time to learn all new spots again.
