Michigan hunt - 09/20/22 08:20 PM

anybody hunted Michigan? Might have opportunity to go in '23, not sure what county but it is on private farm 200 acres. Quick look at regulations looks confusing, lots of quotas?

thanks

I’ve been. Only hunted for about 20 minutes.

Tags are confusing. Find out the zone and put in for a draw.

I live up here. What part of the state are you considering? The southern part of the state has the biggest bucks and is mostly ag. The upper lower peninsula has some areas with lots of deer and some with low numbers but it is the "up north" experience, lots of evergreens and poplars but rack size is average probably. I live in the central part of the lower and it has high numbers of deer and very good hunting. What a lot of people don't know is Michigan has a ton of turkeys. See them almost every day where I live year round.
