Been seeing a hen in the back yard and really no pattern just shows up couple times a week. Well today she came out then a jake comes out and I watched them for a bit then lost sight of them and headed out back there to get on my tractor and drove within 30yrds of him and figure well he’s fixing to run. But no I notice he’s barely moving and acting like they do when they bow up to another gobbler. I start just fooling with him making drumming noise and Didn’t realize til few minutes later the hen was laying there and he did the walk on her then when over she got up a shook off and they just walked in the woods. Seen them breed on tv but never live. Guess maybe she didn’t have a successful nest. I’ve got video of part of it but don’t know how to post.

Everyone knows hens only breed with dominant gobblers. Just ask Dr. Faucci Chamberlain.

My camera sent me this picture last week, I guess they will try and breed as long as they have a willing hen
