Nebraska or Wyoming? - 05/13/21 04:51 AM

Well, me and a buddy are goin in to the panhandle of Nebraska the 21st-28th to hopefully kill some turkeys (mainly merriams) not lookin or asking for personal spots but, does anybody have any tips as far as which public lands get the most pressure and to stay away from, how does the gobblers respond to calling/decoys late season and would using fans be more beneficial?
Also how is the access in Wyoming black hills and hunting pressure and which would you prefer out of the black hills of Wyoming or the pine ridge area of Nebraska?
And if anybody has a tip or access to some private land we are willing to pay a reasonable trespass fee. Any and all info will be greatly appreciated.

Nebraska met the beginning of a reckoning this year.

You will be hard pressed to kill any on Nebraska public right now. Maybe that last week but I would give more weight to reports in the last couple years than anything else.

From youtube stars to the governor declaring Nebraska the best hunting state in the nation, Nebraska has been glory hounded by the best killers across the country. Add this to the fact that the population has been declining across much of the state. It’s gonna get real real bad.

I know nothing about Wyoming.
