Hens

Is anyone seeing less hens than normal? I have hunted more than average this year and seen about 20% of the hens I normally see. Either they are already split off and sitting (I hope) or they are just gone.
Just curious. I hunt in southern alabama.

I’m actually seeing more than normal in Tenn. which is a welcome sight considering we’ve had such poor population for so long.

Seen plenty in clarke - most of the hunts I been in where a bird gobbled a hen has been present - seen way more hens than gobblers - the gobblers I had gobbling across the line - lot of days the hens were on the line between us or on me

Seen a grand total of 5 hens while hunting. Seen several more while driving but NOTHING like a normal year.

Way more hens than normal. I actually have a group that is driving me crazy. If you get anywhere near this bottom and call they will be in your face raising cane and won’t let a gibberish get anywhere near you. Seen them drag him off twice.
