carrying fans

How do you guys carry fans in the woods? I have some full fans that are locked open from salt etc. but you yall have a device to fold it? I don't have enough fans to really want to take one out and destroy it.

I don't. Because turkey hunters don't need it.

...at least you can make the chufa fields big enough to be a challenge.

I've just seen guys stuff them in their pouch in the back of a vest. It tears them up after a few years but they just cut a couple more. I've only carried one a couple times and never pulled it out, though I have been around a couple decoys with real fans. But only out west. They seem to really get gobblers worked up.

I prefer the umbrella with the gobbler on the front. I just need to upgrade and get the kevlar version next time.

Me too! I also wear a red hankerchief that has a little white mixed in with it. Great minds!:)

I have a backpack from a old pop up blind that I carry my decoys and fan in.

Carry folded up fan in back of vest. Once rank enough you don’t want to handle...get a new one

I normally have mine just the same.
