Question about a Benelli

Can a factory barrel be cut off and if so, who can do it? I have a couple 26’s that I would love to have cut down to 21”

I don’t believe so with the chrome lining Benelli uses

That is what I’d heard before. Was hoping it wasn’t true

Called several people about the same thing including rob Roberts and all have said no

I had my M2 20 cut down and rethreaded last year by SumToy. Came out good and shoots well

What does it cost to have one cut and rethreaded? I would think you could just purchase another barrel for close to the same cost

I paid 145 for the cut and retread plus a choke tube. Brileys also does it, I think they charge $75 for a cut and thread

I have a buddy that got a sbe1 chopped and ported. If the chrome is chipping , u can’t see it from the muzzle end with the choke out.
