Now if I can keep the hogs from destroying them I'll be in good shape!

Sj go to the general forum and read the garhole thread before you ride down here with Yekrut. Lol!
Congrats on a fine crop.
We haven't gotten a good rain in 2 months and my chufas only made a small crop. And to make it worse, turkeys started hammering them as soon as they put on a few tubers. There is a hen that raised 3 poults and they are in them every day. Oh well.

i had a patch in henry county that i sprayed cleth in for the grass and left. went back the other day for the first time in a month and i guess it didn't even phase the grass. they didn't make any
had three in butler county and turkeys destroyed two of them and the loggers came in the other day and spray a clear cut that i had some planted in and killed all of them. terrible go at it this year

Mine are still looking good and unless the coons or hogs find em they should hopefully hold a turkey or two if one passes through. Have not seen the small group of hens again lately

Fine looking crop. That'll make for some good bait this Spring.
