Does anybody have a pot call of his you’d be willing to part with? I’ve messaged him the last two years and as of last month he still isn’t taking orders. Thanks.

I actually have 2 of his calls. A maple slate and cherry aluminum. His calls are high as giraffe punanny right now and will probably go higher since he won the DD Adams award and had 4 calls place at the NWTF show. Unless you are willing to part with at LEAST 3 Benjamin's, I wouldn't look too hard.

Like I said, I’ve been trying to get on a waiting list for 2 years and he’s not even taking orders. I know what they are selling for and I might pay a stupid amount for one.... im just not sure how stupid 😂

I’d run a Quaker Boy against them any day.

I always wanted a Clint Corder pot. I think I’m over that, though. I understand the high demand, but after a few years of not replying to my once or twice per year messages, I’m gonna stick to my regular call makers. Props to Paul, as he has always communicated with me, when I was trying.

I've got a few Corders too, and I prefer them over the Platz pots myself. Both are fine pots though. There are so many good call makers out there right now, there are really endless options. Brad Robert's is another really good one who I felt like was really just getting big and he quit taking orders. Most of these guys are just regular old guys with regular jobs and families. I cant imagine that they could make a living selling calls and maintain the quality they are known for.

I have a couple of Brad’s, and am well pleased. Is he just so bombarded with orders, that he is temporarily off the market?

I'm not sure how temporary it is. I havent really heard any clarification on that, just that he has quit taking orders. Hes still turning pots and working on his list. He had a good showing at NWTF too. He won the "other" surface pot call class and had another pot or two place

I went on a turkey hunt in OK and he happened to be there too. Seemed like a really nice guy, and he killed a couple of turkeys too. He got my address and contact info when he left and I thought he might send me a call. Been about 5 years, so I guess not. smile

Surefire is making some now that sound as good to me as any on the market. I'll be using one of them this year any time I pull out a pot call.
