Actually, we spoke with Jimmy Dean (owner of Jimmy Dean's Lounge) about 2 weeks before heading up. When we got about 10 miles from Niobrara we stopped at the farmer's house to confirm our hunting dates and he informed us that Jimmy Dean died suddenly a week earlier. That was a real kick in the balls since we enjoyed visiting with Jimmy Dean AND he had some more contacts for us to hunt on their properties. So, no we didn't hang out at the bar this trip, it wasn't the same without Jimmy Dean.
