Scouting tomorrow - 03/02/18 01:29 AM

I love scouting after a rain and the weather tomorrow looks to be fantastic. I’ve got 5 spots I want to hit tomorrow and will probably walk 7 to 8 miles looking for sign. I’ve got 2 cameras to check and two more to put out. Yes..... I’m getting excited!!!!

I went Tuesday morning and heard about 6 birds gobble and gobbled good. Really got me fired up!

If the wind will lay down a little bit, they ought to be making some noise in the morning.

Picked up a new spot today. May go listen in the morning before we go on a tower pheasant shoot. Gonna be a good day to be outside this weekend!

I couldn’t get out there today like I wanted. I’ve got the alarm set for the tomorrow morning to go listen and scout.

I plan to listen from the rocking chair with a cup of coffee in the morning. My brother said they wore it out where he was this morning.

Heard 3 from the first spot here at Cahaba and only 2 at this spot. Tracks and strut marks everywhere in the roads.
