Old School Collection Complete(More gun porn)

Finally rounded all these up after a long search for a couple of them. The 870 Greenleaf has lots of memories but I now use the 20 gauge about as much as any of them.

Tell us what they all are.

From left to right you have the 11-87s Trebark, Greenleaf, and Original Bottomland. Then you have the 870s in Greenleaf and Bottomland. Last is the 870 20ga sps-t. These are the old school Remingtons made in the early 90s. The trebark was the hardest to find but I lucked up on it. It’s taken me about 5 years to find them all. Not sure really why I wanted all of them but I just like them.

A gun per bird for your limit. And you can always have a gun for a buddy. Nice guns. Now i jist need my gun camo.

I’m not sure but I think it was made closer to the 2000-2003 time frame. It was definitely not made in the early 90s with the others. As hard as ithose things are to find I don’t know if they made it very long but I’m not sure on that either. It wasn’t one that I was originally looking for until I was introduced to all the 20 gauge stuff on here; so thanks to y’all I got another gun.


As far as selling them; couldn’t do it lol. Not yet anyway I’ve put too much time in getting them. Had to drive to South Carolina to pick up that Bottomland 11-87 because the guy wouldn’t ship it. The other crazy thing what some sold for that I did find. One of the first 11-87s bottomlands I found on gunbroker sold for over $2000! I obviously didn’t win that one; some people want them bad. I did too but wasn’t going to over pay that much which is why it took me as long to find them.

A long time ago Marks had one of those 870 SPS-T's 20ga sitting on the used gun counter for $400. I almost bought it but wasn't in there that day to buy a gun. Little did I know they would stop producing them. Missed out on that one. And yes, they are like hen's teeth to find.

what is the 1187 in bottomland worth?

I know a fella that has one of those 870 SPS-T's in 20ga he is going to sale but a pal of his has spoken for it.

I once owned an 11-87 in Greenleaf. It wasn’t worth a chit.
I killed a bird with it shooting the old Activ 3-inch 6s. I thought that was a wicked load at the time.

I shot Remington's for over 20 years and they are some of the best shooting guns out there. Just not the most reliable.

He prob could too. Turkeymaster ask how much the 11-87 was worth. Well I’m not sure because I’ve seen some go for $750 and some for $2000 but thankfully I was able to stay below those prices on all of my 11-87s. I can say for sure the 20 ga sps guns that I have found have been the highest of all of them. I have 2 now and had 3 at one point and they will sell fast online at a premium usually.

There are a couple on GunBroker. Hell I just want a 1187 supermag shurshot can't find them anywhere

I killed a couple birds with those loads AC, thought I was uptown.

Nice collection. I can appreciate the time & expense in tracking them down and purchasing them. Rem made some M700 rifles in bottomland that I always thought was cool. Never had the scratch to get one back in the day and now of course they're hard to find.

Only one is a 20. The one on the far right. They made that gun later than the others. Bought one from a great guy on here and really liked it. Ended up finding a couple more of those and bought them; kept one for my son and put a ATI stock on it and sold one. I have ended up carrying his when he doesn’t go because I really like the stock.
