What an incredible experience. A very interesting watch for any turkey hunter. No way I could've done what that guy did.

The book is even better.

I have no idea how he managed to spend days on end in the bugs and heat. I've hunted a good bit in that area of ANF and it is miserable by the end of April, let alone mid summer.

16 eggs hatched out of 24 in the incubator. By my count 9 lived to young adults. 2 died to virus, 1 to a hawk, 2 to snakes. Can't figure what happened to other 2.
