Gobbling in June - 06/03/17 04:01 PM
Went to my lease today to lime a couple fields, put out some mineral licks, and fill some feeders with corn. As I was about to fill a feeder, it thundered and he gobbled. I hooted, and he gobbled again, slammed the lid to the feeder, and he gobbled again! That was cool to hear and totally unexpected, especially at 2:45 in the afternoon.

If you shoot some hens you'll move the rut dates up ...

It wasn't off of franklin road was it? We were doing some work there and every morning we pulled up toms and hens where out in the field

It could be just about anywhere in Franklin. That whole place is covered up with turkeys
I've been seeing strutters & hearing gobbling (off & on) for weeks now
