Set up on a crossing at the foot of a hill between planted pines and an SMZ. Lots of activity in this area. No deer yet.

Great yesterday a.m. and was really excited about this a.m.. Not a hair yet. Solunar table showing later a.m. movement. I just hope it is earlier than the storms heading our way....

Saw a spike. Called it due to rain. Scrapes were freshened last night at a few different places on our lease. They haven't been worked in a week or so before last night/this morning. Good luck to you guys hanging in there today. I'll maybe get to try again a time or two before the 10th.

Made it until 1100 with not a hair seen.

I will join you guys on the 5th thru 8th. I'm headed to Sardis to hunt at Cedar Acres Lodge.

I will have 7-10th to hunt. I skipped today to spend time with the family. A buddy of mine shot one this afternoon said it was a good one. He is going to let him lay over night.

May make the drive down to Ft. Rucker next weekend for a chance at tagging out my 3rd buck, but hopefully I slay some hogs since I can't take a doe
