Good luck men! I went out for my shortest sit yet this morning, have work in just a little bit. Saw two doe, two coyotes, nothing was in range. It was a fun first season for me, sad I didn't get to shoot any deer, but happy that I had the opportunity to enjoy God's creation! Can't wait for October!

Hoping to get out to Cahaba for the last time this season in the afternoon. Haven't been out there in weeks. But I'm working at the crossplex in Bessemer and get done right at the same time the "black lives matter" protest is suppose to shut the exit to the crossplex and trap people here in 5points West. SO EXCITED....can't they find a hobby. The jeep might be going urban off-roading today.

I just got busted by a buck... Looked like a good one too 40 yards saw me put my rangefinder down

Had two doe come in a little before 11. That's 7 deer and 4 hogs

Saw a button buck at 7, he got spooked by a truck in the parking lot. Several other trucks driving in and out so I climbed down, going to eat some lunch and give it one last go. Good luck

Changed locations completely, decided to go to a spot that was active last year this time. I may regret that, very little sign in here, I spooked 2 walking in several hundred yards back that were on their feet.

Still here... I am afraid I missed the opportunity I was given this mornin... Hopefully they start moving soon

Back at em again this afternoon as same spot as yesterday. Hopefully I can catch the one some guys seen cruising by yesterday.

Skunked again. When you can only see 2O yards though you'll have that. This may wind me up. Not sure yet with ten days left. May sneak in one or two more but just not mad at em like I was.

Saw a buck and a doe, literally under my stand. The only problem was the buck was chasing the doe so they didn't slow down long enough for me to shoot. Then he let the doe go back to feeding for 30 minutes while he laid down in the thick stuff shaking his horns at me. Fun to watch for a good 30 minutes but frustrating as hell sitting in there with a bow and the buck out of range. Pretty much how my entire season went this year, seeing very few deer and the ones I saw never hit a shooting lane. Time to charge the boat batteries and start chasing the fish.

Great morning, even though nothing in range, afternoon was a zero. Saw nine this a.m.. First 8pt came within 40 yds before I even pulled the bow up on climber, not sure I could have ever gotten a shot. 10 minutes later had a very heavy 8 cruising, but never inside 75 yds. 0730 had a smaller buck chasing 2 does. Let bow down at 1000 and had 3 deer coming through the same general area as most of the other deer. Moved climber to hopefully be close enough in the a.m. and Hoping something will ease through.

well I am not sure what is going on but huntin is fighting me... I sat over 9 hrs walked a little over 3 miles there and back.. I had 3 hunters walk in on me at 230.. They hunted right across from me(they never knew I was there) At five or so I am pretty sure one of them shot a buck... Idk if they found it or anything about it I was sick so I took my toys and come home... I guess it just wasn't meant to be.. Maybe next weekend I am taking tomorrow off.. Gotta watch the kids and I need to spend time with them... Y'all knock them dead tomorrow..
