Back in the same gum tree as yesterday, got some shooting lanes trimmed, now I prolly won't see anything .good luck to all, may your arrow hit it's mark.

On a natural funnel between bedding and feeding. About 50 yards off a slough.

Had a doe stroll thru about 7:30. Lots of shots around me. Maybe big boy will show up soon.

Saw nothing this AM except for every goose in Maryland in the creek behind me. Going to get back out this afternoon...

Saw 3 gobblers and a coon, no deer.

Bumped one walkin out at 1130.... Got back set up about 1:30. Huntin the edge of a green field. Got a 60 yard shot to the end of it. Got hard wood bottom to my right... Maybe I'll get lucky... The wind ain't messin around right now hope it settles down..

Set up on a small greenfield with a creek and hardwoods on one side and cutover on the other. Deer moved good for me this morning, maybe same will happen this evening. Good luck all.

Two does that I never saw until I stood up busted me at 0730. Had another doe feed to within 60 before going elsewhere. Hoping the wind determine which direction it wants to blow and stay that way. Good luck.

Got whipped again today 0 deer

Had 4 long beards come in at 4 and scratch around till about 4:40.. Not one deer today...

The rut is a myth

I am afraid that this is true or I missed it here in Blount County. My step dad saw some chasing a week ago but it was young bucks... The more I hunt the less confident i grow in what i know about deer...

Hang in there. My best buck slipped up at the very tail end of the rut in Cleburne County. The last part of the rut will have the big boys traveling..
