You ever get in your tree and go you shouldn't be in this spot. That's the way I feel now. Guess I'll see what happens.

I second guess myself all the time. It keeps me from goin to bed the night before a hunt. So I only get 4-5 hrs... Like today the wind is perfect for my best set and I second guessed myself till midnight and driving in this mornin. But I'm here hopfully a good buck shows up good luck yall be safe!

Waiting for this bad rain to pass. Cant decide if I want to use gun or bow today on the Cahaba. They weren't really moving yesterday so thinking after this rain they should move a little. It's been really slow on the Cahaba for a week or two.

It says it's 45 but it feels like it's about 10 degrees out here. Gonna try and set for 30 more minutes

Wish I could of used that reason. Saw her coming a hundred yards away. I was actually standing up already to be closer to the umbrella and she came straight to me. Facing me the whole time. I actually think the umbrella helped cause she looked up at me but just once for a second. She knew something was up. She was skinny anyways.

I saw two does. Was going to shoot but the lead doe knew something wasn't right and turned around. Nothing like bowhunting!

I sat till 1040 or and and gave up. Soon as I climbed down and got to the wheeler it quit raining and the sun came out. I saw one fresh track in our small green field that didn't have water in it.

Thunder ran me off. The hard rains followed.

First bow kill. Went about 50yds after a 20yd shot. Finally slipped in a lane at 4:45.

I appreciate it yall. It was extremely different from a rifle kill. After missing two prior i was wonderin if it would ever come. Nothin like hearin that thump on a solid hit. Im hooked on the bow!
