Cold weather and arrow flight

Cold weather and arrow flight - 11/18/14 06:04 PM

Shot several groups of arrows today from my compound and they were grouping well, but were consistently low at 35, 45, and 55 Yds. It got me wondering if this has anything to do with the air temperature as it was in the 30's. Anyone know if this is true?

I shot this afternoon with my thick jacket/vest combo. I shot consistently, but just a touch higher than usual. The extra layering made my form change a little I think and was probably dropping my arm more than bending at the waist since I was shooting elevated. My guess is that something with your form changed due to the temperature. I'm interested to see some other responses as I'm strictly guessing since this is my first year trying this stick-n-string deal
