Waiting on a buddy and his son to show up this morning. Putting them in a blind on a field and Im headed to some hardwoods with pines on the east and west.

Just settled in. Setting in a oak bottom. Had 2 good bucks on camera. Hope one shows. Good luck and be safe. Little blurry

Just setup on top of an oak hollar that meets a ridge. Still dropping acorns here ... Started to post my status when the woods came alive so I hunkered down only to find 6-8 sqwrls working the area. Aren't they a good sign?

Hunting in Titus today, waiting on a hog or deer. I'll shot the first thing that i see today. Perfect morning.

My daughter didn't get in from the ball game til after 1 this am & she said she was to tired and wanted to sleep lol. So I'm in my millenium on a hardwood ridge between a thinned pine plantation and a creek bottom. Good luck to all the kids out there today!!

Just had 2 big bucks dog doe right by my. Couldn't get them to stop. The bigger one in the back caught up to the lead buck and whooped his ass!! That was the best rutting action I have ever seen!!

I'm in a ladder stand this morning on a little green field.

Cold and windy this morning but ended up seeing 4 deer. Waiting for my brother to wake up so we can hunt this afternoon

Didnt see anything other than tree rats. Headed to my neices bday party. Im sure I wont stick out at all.

Sitting in a saddle BTW two hardwood bottoms. Wind is a little iffy, but it might work. Who else is in this eve?

I sat til 12 and didn't see a deer. Dad and my nephew went out this afternoon I'm on stand at the camp house watching BAMA!!!!

Nothing yet, except a lot of wind and squirrels

Whacked a doe right at dark, saw 6, buddy shot a 9pt

Had a doe and fawn slip behind me at 100 yards at 7:45 this morning. At 10:45 I figured I would switch to trying to call in some of the local coyotes and cats with some distressed fawn bleats. Not 30 seconds after I finished I heard faint bleats and I had a back and forth session til I got eyes on the doe coming straight in, she went behind the stand and I passed a 15yd broadside shot through some thin pine thinking she would take 3 more steps past the tree into my shooting lane but she put her nose to the ground where I walked in and turned straight up my path giving me her back end. I tried calling her back in but she just kept gingerly walking my route in, which I actually came in a different way so that I would have them pick up my scent. Also turns out the pine tree was basically straw and I have no doubt my arrow would have blown through it and her.

Wind jacked me up this evening. Supposed to be SE, but where I was it was just a straight E, and I really needed that S variant to get away with it. I chanced it anyway (thinking it would turn), and at 3:35 I saw 6 does standing on the edge of the cut wind checking me (noses in the air, bobbin' their heads, stomping their feet). They put their tails up and stiff leg walked back out of sight, so I chose to get down really fast and sneak out of there before I boogered the place up. Think I'll go back in there in the morning and catch the wind more "South". It's really a better morning spot anyway. Plus, that was a good excuse to come home and catch the 2nd half of the Bama game!
