Here on a hardwood creek bottom. Wind is blowing pretty good. Good luck guys.

Sittin on an oak ridge with wind blowing pretty hard. Had a deer wind me about 0630. I can hear the boats taking off at millers ferry and I bet there arses are cold.

I'm set up on the middle ridge where Emmett shot his 8pt 12 days ago. Little nipply out this morning.

Just had a doe cruise by. Little out of range.

Two small bucks just came by at about 60 yds

A little light rain just started. I may get down and go for a walk in the woods.

I drove to the club last night. Got up this morning, saw how bad the wind was blowing and crawled bag into my warm bed. I'm getting soft in my old age. Pretty sad

Three just cruised by. To thick to tell what they were. Wind getting stronger.

Struggling this morning. Just climbed about 30 minutes ago. Same spot as yesterday on a pine ridge next to creek bottom on Cahaba.

you guys are idiots for being out in this wind..... I'm leaving the office at lunch and should be in the tree by 2.

Found one of our biggest shoot houses on a nice size food plot. I can neither confirm or deny whether I may or may not be taking a nap soon.

Skunked this morning. Wind was brutal and I should have drug the coyote I killed out last week, he stunk bad. So I took care of his maggoty butt . Good luck everyone.

trying to figure out if I want to get in a tree after while or ground blind on a field?I have not seen any deer in over a week so it's pretty much a 50/50 anywhere I go...any suggestions? will the wind possibly die down later?and now I'm wondering if I have enough clothes.

You wont be escaping the wind today, my friend. It should peak out at 13 mph sustained this afternoon and it will continue blowing through the night. My weather app says it will be blowing 7 mph at 3 am tonight even and pick back up tomorrow morning.
