No luck this mornin. I found the bed I jumped the one from this Mornin after I got down. In a differnt spot this afternoon. I had a fox come in and I missed... Oh well got that out my system. Just had someone try and cl a tree 50 yards from me I whistled a few time before he got the picture.... This combo of realtree base layer top and mossy oak leffy suit bottom must make me invisible
I don't think it was open. I am in 7 for the rest of the trip.
Didn't see anything yesterday but people... I am in a different area today and I have found the thickest pine hard wood mix in the area. Not on purpose just walked in and found a spot... Might try and scout my way into the afternoon spot
Thanks man. I just spent an hr walkin the area I'm in tryin to find some sign or something that looked good to set up on. All I found was s hunter... Apologized to him walked back and walked 50 yards off the trail and climbed a tree.... Maybe I can get lucky twice
Back at it this mornin. Didn't see anything yesterday afternoon. I i like this spot looks good in here. This is my last hunt so maybe a can Atleast see some more deer!

I got a doe my second day. She was small but it'll be tender and I had to shoot one to shoot a buck. I saw a buck but I couldn't tell what he was. We got back this afternoon. All in all it was a good trip and it was nice to get in the woods and get some meat for the freezer. I will be back up there in November and hopefully get one of the monsters up there! My buddy got to hunt a good unit on the 3rd day and saw an 8 that was in the upper 130's. I will try and get some pictures up a little later of my set ups. Good luck to you!
I think it's gonna be early on the rut up there .. End of oct
What makes you say that? I would guess that in all my walking at Campbell i saw at least 30 rubs and a few scrapes. I watched a buck rub a little on a tree and another guy watched one making a rub too.
