Actually, I shoot a few a couple of days a week. I'm probably more fired up this year than I have been in a while, though!!

My Grandson is already shooting. He is working a construction job out of Macon GA and he bought him a new bow and a block just a couple days ago at the local Bass Pro. I ask him last night how many arrows he had lost so far and he said, "none-yet"

I shoot my bow year round. I have been hog hunting with my shotgun (slugs) and my rifle. I will start hog hunting with my bow later this month. And will continue to do so until bow season starts for deer.

Practice and practice and practice some more.

If you shot a Mathews you wouldn't have to practice so much...

No doubt they are good bows. But, I will stick with my Hoyt!

Does anyone know when the pre-season starts ? :p

I have been clearing a new food plot for the last week with a chainsaw and I have literally lost five pounds. It is so hot, I don't even want to think about bow hunting right now! The dog days of August are not even here yet and I am melting!

I ALWAYS attach my release to the upper limb of my bow nowadays. No lesson like a bought lesson!

I always attach mine to my wrist strap on my bow.

I had a buddy years ago go on a drop camp hunt in CO for elk. The wrangler took him an a buddy up the moutain about 15 miles. When they got to camp he discovered he had left his release in the truck. Cost him some money to get that wrangler to go back down and get it for him. Money sure does seem to help the memory in some situations!

went hunting about an hour from the house one time and left it at home. i forgot to put it back in the case when i took it out of my pocket. makes for a very aggrevating day
