LFTT 1/5

Set up in an acorn flat that's low and holding water. Trails on either side, I prefer to climb on the edge of the water but there's more in here than has been. Moved up about 75 yards right on the edge of thick stuff. It's foggy in here with low visibility. Good luck and stay safe.

Good luck this morning. I picked up my thunder stick this morning in case of chasing activities outside bow range

Out on wheeler, had a good 6pt come by but was 80 yards. Saw some does going the other direction in the same spot. Guess I need to set up different next time, but it’s been fun so far!

Nice! Was there a lot of people out with their smoke poles?

Ran into two people walking in. Found a spot, saw those deer, and I should have a dead 8pt but I got tangled in my stuff and couldn’t calm down. I had a two second window and he was gone. He sure was pretty

All that to say, that was a great hunt and I freaking love bow hunting. Sometimes I forget to just have fun. It was a super fun hunt. Going to try to get out in the same area tomorrow. None of the deer ever winded me or anything, just couldn't get shots.
