Bow Mechanic - 07/05/22 12:22 AM

I’ve acquired a camo Mathews genesis for my 13 yr old to hunt with. Need to get the poundage turned up to max, draw length adjusted, peep installed, and rest squared. Any recommendations in the Baldwin county area? Thanks in advance

If it's a genesis bow there is no draw length adjustment. Poundage can be adjusted with the bolts where they bolt to the riser.

Did a little research AR. This is the Gen-X. Draw length adjustable from 21”-30”.

Stand at the gun counter a long time listening to two guys behind the counter shooting the bull. After at least 5 min, I interrupt them and say I’m here to pick up a shotgun I ordered. Someone will be with you shortly they say. 5 more minutes one of them gets the 4473 out finally for me to fill out. If not for being a special order and already paid in full, I’d told them to pound sand then. Needless to say, I’ll never bother those folks again.

Well that is a terrible experience... The value in their archery department was the one legged guy named Chris. He is the best bow tech I have had work on any of my bows. He may no longer be there though, I'm not sure. If he's not I would retract my recommendation. He is the reason I took my bow to them, but its been a while since I've had mine worked on.
