The wife and I will be heading out tomorrow going to Wabash, Indiana for the Midwest Classic Trail Shoot. This will be the first time I've shot a tournament with this format. I'll have to shoot 40 targets on Saturday and 30 targets on Sunday. You have to shoot each target twice and they vary from 4 to 101 yards. I've been doing fairly well with targets 50 yards or less but it's the ones between 50 and 101 yards that I'm afraid are going to give me problems. These are just a few groups that I was able to put all shots in the scoring rings. And yes, the targets get smaller the closer they are.

Well day 1 is over and I dropped way more points than I had hoped. It really sucks when you miss the 15, 24, 31 and 40 yard targets and get kicked out on a 34 yard target. I did however get to shoot with Remington Boyer and that kid can definitely shoot. Tomorrow we have to shoot another 30 targets (60 shots) and they are expecting rain. These are the only pictures that I took today. The last picture is from where we shot the Bigfoot target.

Day #2 didn't go as well as I had hoped. I dropped 11 points on 30 targets (60 shots). I'm gonna go back and check but I think that overall I dropped most of my points on targets inside of 40 yards. I think my biggest problem on day 2 was fatigue from day 1. I'm gonna have to get in better shape before I shoot another tournament like this. Even with dropping 21 points on the weekend I still managed to take 1st place in senior pro male freestyle ( non nfaa member) class. Here are a few pictures from day 2.
