Climbed up a few minutes ago and already had a good sized doe stroll through at about 12 yards. Holding out for a buck that has been frequenting the area as the first deer on the new property.

Beautiful evening in the woods. Ended up seeing 5 does total. Cooked some venison tacos for dinner and the big field had deer in it when I went to check the mail after dinner. Fine day.

Heck I thought 80# was plenty. I guess maybe I need to do 160#, but it’s a long way up to the top of that ridge.
