LFTT 1/11 Oak Mountain

Here for my first sit at oak mountain. Drizzle just stopped, I have 5 scrapes all in bow range. Absolutely no idea what to expect out here but I’m excited. I’d be happy with a doe this week, but a nice buck with my bow would be wonderful. Just gotta hit them....

I’m back in the slough from the other day. Checked my bow was 6 inches high so adjusted and put a bunch more shots through it. Several scrapes in here haven’t been reworked since the rain, maybe he’ll come back through this afternoon.

So far one doe, one jogger, and one golden retriever

No shot opportunities on any of them? 😆

Saw 2 bucks and a doe. No shot.

The deer, rattled in two bucks back when they first started the hunts at Oak Mountain. If your seeing joggers move somewhere you don't see them

Gave him a meh but the jogger kept going

Saw a bunch of deer but all out of range. I’m staying in the park and drove the roads just now and saw 4 different nice bucks chasing does. I have a better game plan for the morning
