Set up on slough with an oak flat the joins 10 year old pines on one side and thick bedding area on the other. There’s a fresh scrape line that runs the edge of pines and slough.
I shot and missed a decent buck at 25 yards. I did manage to kill 10 inches of dirt. Saw another 5 point, didn’t come in range, and a small doe that got a pass. Back at in the morning, unless sleep prevails.
