54 degrees, calm.... awesome morning in western KY.

Buddy has a doe down and I've seen 2 spikes so far. Also had to fight off a red tailed hawk

Killed a doe @ 8:30 this morning. Didn’t wanna chance bumping target buck this morning so waited until noon and slipped in. Seen two doe so far. Hopefully he will come thru. Still holding velvet as of 9:30 am this morning.

Shot a mid 150’s buck right at dark. Backed out. Gonna go pick up my buddy and come back.

Gave him an hour and slipped in to where i shot him. Lung blood everywhere.....he ran around 100 yards and piled up. 11 point full velvet. 25” main beams. Long tines. 16” wide. Pretty deer. I’ll try to figure out a picture posting.
