what do y'all wear on 80-85 degree days ...

... when bow season starts? what little bowhunting i've done, has been in cooler weather. i intend to be serious about it this fall, and starting hunting hard opening day ...

Shorts and a t-shirt at the house. 80 degrees is about my limit for comfort, bow season is too long in Alabama to hunt in the heat. In those kind of temps, I hunt morning only. Then I wear light weight nylon type pants and a lightweight long sleeve shirt.

My problem is I'm old and fat. If I try to use my climber in those temps, I'm dripping in sweat by he time I get settled.

I stay home and don’t go any more. Cotton pants and a breathable stretchy fabric long sleeve shirt is what I would use above 70 degrees. I don’t fool with it anymore. I love bow season. It’s better than the rut, but I pick days wisely. Far more success has been had selecting the right day over any day.

Camo long sleeve t-shirt and pants and sit on the shady side.

I wear fishing clothes.....and go to the lake.

Dress lite,and try to remember your thermocell, and some good mosquito netting face mask,and gloves.
Fighting mosquitoes sort of gets you busted.

5-6 yrs ago bow hunted and it was hot as hell so went to creek on the property to fish and I'll be damn deer was playing in the creek like little kids.but yeah I wear long sleeve t-shirt cotton camo britches and net gloves and face mask to help with skeeters

I wear my Turkey season clothes in early bow season. Colors still blend in and much cooler.

I usually start hunting in Sept in GA and hunt in the same stuff I turkey hunt in. Ol tom button up and pants or a short sleeve dry fit shirt.

I wear a swim suit and chase red fish.

I have a big ASAT pull over shirt I wear over whatever I have on. If its warm I just have a light T shirt under the ASAT

Either don't hunt or I hunt areas that take little effort to get to and get the deer out. Y'all ever tried to drag a deer when it's actually warm out? I haven't and don't intend on it. I think I hunted one day like that last year and I regretted it.

I used to hunt naked in hot weather til the game warden threatened to pull my license for life if I scared him that bad again

I dont deer hunt when it is 85 degrees. Why scent up the woods when the chances of a mature buck moving in daylight are almost ZERO? Risk of letting him know he is being hunted is not worth being able to say, "I sat in the stand this afternoon and sweated my balls off just to see a doe or two and need a shower".

T shirt and lightweight long pants. You only get so many sits in your life. I get the argument on its better to go when conditions are right but you can’t beat time in the woods.

I usually just wear one of these. They are awesome on those hot humid days. Especially if there’s just a hint of breeze.

ASAT leafy suit over shorts and tee shirt.

I like to wear air conditioning until late November.

T shirt and boxers and always wear my snake boots.

I bought a leafy suit from cabelas back before bass pro ruined them and have killed several deer wearing shorts and an UA shirt underneath. And yes to the snake boots that’s the hottest part of the hunt.

A face net, and a codpiece. That's it.
