Damn fellers. Don't know about you,but work has made June/July go by damn fast. It's almost Aug 1st, then Sept and Oct. Bow season is gettin near.

Can't wait for the 1st 20 degree drop in temp...

Bermudy shorts an a t shirt are my ideal hunting aparrel....I hate cold...now...I do enjoy crisp fall days with highs in the low 70's an upper 60's with low humidity....an a 45 degree morning...otherwise the frost an crap can stay elsewhere...yelk on that...south Texas was wonderful...I could hunt in shorts nearly all season long...I know I'm the minority...an a weirdo...but I like being comfortable.

I love a clear 32-34 degree morning with a slight NW breeze in late October. So do the deer.

Well when you have no deer you might as well be comfy while you sit and look at nothin

I saw a bachelor group of 3 bucks cross a power line I was bushogging last week. I'm with you that first cool snap and the end of October is like gold

I'm ready. Been wearing out my debit card the last two weeks ordering new gear to try out. Saw a nice velvet buck cross the road into one of our clear cuts yesterday afternoon.

Finally pulled my bow out yesterday and shot a few.

Bow season started today in South Florida. I can’t imagine try to sit in this heat

I’ve been in the woods since July 1 scouting hunting spots and looking for old sign. I know I should do that right after the season but that’s when the smallmouth start biting. Bankhead is huge but hunts pretty small. Some places are just impossible to get to.
