Moon phase

Going on a bow hunt in Alabama in November. We have our choice of the 1st 2nd 3rd weekend. What is you guys favorite moon phase to hunt looking at those 3 weekends. We will be in Butler county.

If I had those options Id pick the 13th - 15th. New moon that weekend and moon rise and set times are ideal. Im really big on moon rise and set times/ over head under foot. If those really good over head under foot days coincide with a new moon or a full moon you've got a good day IMO. Weather probably trumps moon but if the two ever get right at the same time Im takin days off work.

My best week for bow hunting has always been the first week of November, regardless of the moon phase.
