How often do y’all replace your bow string and cable?
I shoot 50 ish shots per week 8 or 9 months a year
I normally keep the bow inside the house but do leave it in my garage a lot during the season

Depends on the amount of shooting you do and how well you maintain it. In your case every 2 to 3 years. If your bow still has the factory originals, it’s time.

I’ve owned my bow for 4 years and have replaced mine twice. I don’t shoot every weekend but I would say I average shooting 60 arrows a month through out the year.

I started to ask about this the other day. I haven’t shot my bow that much, but hunted with it about 3 years. It’s sat about 6 years now without being shot. I was looking at it the other night and I think it needs reserving at least.

My question is, I assume you have to completely reset a bow when it gets a new string? Re tune and all? The only time it was replaced was when I got it, I had another cam put on it to lengthen the draw.

Yes, the bow will need to be tuned and sighted in again after a string change.
