Hunting Freedom Hills today. I’m smack dab in the middle of bedding area with trails and honeysuckles. I got the wind and wet ground to cover my noise getting in here. It’s grown up since last year from what I can tell. Not going to be able to shoot like I wanted, to thick. We will see once it gets daylight in here. Tail end of the rut should have the older ones on their feet. Wind is killing me in this swaying 8 year old pine. Good luck y’all.
Shooting lanes are showing up a little better with this daylight. Should be an interesting morning.

Great looking place, JD. Good luck.
Nothing so far this morning. Getting some sunshine now, so Maybe that will get them moving in here.
No good. Time to get down and eat.

Got set up about 1330, came back to a fence where they been crossing. Big limb fell out of a pine and has the wire mashed down. My standards are considerably lower than they have been all season. I need to loose an arra.
I moved 15 miles, but still on Freedom Hills. I’m hunting a trail in a pine hollow between two honeysuckle thickets. Good spot for some chasing. 70 yards off main paved road.
