more goodies on the way

Gotta put some arrows together since I'm planning on using the 72# bow for elk this year and want more arrow weight. Gonna up the weight from 421gr to 460ish.
Have 14 Black Eagle Outlaw 300s coming
2dz 42gr brass inserts
Couple packs of 2in Blazers
2 Outlaw 350s for the other bow just because

Shot my sons arrows this morning at 462ish and was money to 60 even though that bow was sighted in with 421gr arrows so, that's a big plus. Gotta replace vanes on one of his cause I put a tip through one...

I'm guessing you lost around 10 fps with the heavier arrow. There shouldn't be too much difference out to 50 yards but beyond that I would expect you to notice a difference. Good luck with the elk hunt!!! I remember the first elk I killed was with an arrow that weighed 555 gr. It was a complete pass through from a Hoyt Super Slam 80 lb bow. It was only a 15 yard shot on a broadside bull.

Prolly about 10fps or so. If I want, i can change from comfort to performance and getc6-8fps back. Probably won't though
