LFTT 2/04/19

This is going to be my last sit of the season at my parents house. I have to work the rest of the week. I’m back on the hardwood ridge where I missed a good buck last Tuesday. Did see a deer this morning but prime feeding time is supposed to be midday so I’m back in the stand. Not going to be real picky today. Any racked buck will do.



And I just might cheat if he doesn’t want to come close enough.

I’m hunting Freedom Hills this afternoon. I’m set up 20 yards from a bluff and 15 yards from 2 year old cut over. I have been watching a set of tracks for about two weeks crossing this gravel road, so I decided it’s now or never. If he is as big as his track, he will be a dandy. I decided to use my new M100u and M250 climbing sticks. Weight is about 23 pounds. It was my first climb with it and it was not easy at all. I need a ton of practice to say the least. However it is very comfortable. I cut shooting lanes and put out a ton of scent. Let’s just see what happens......
