LFTT 11/3/18 - 11/03/18 10:38 AM

Fixing to head in to the same spot as yesterday evening. Hopefully a buck old enough to shoot will make an appearance. Coldest morning so far, ought to be good.

I’m set up in the hardwoods along the edge of some pines hoping to catch them transitioning from feeding to bedding or vise versa. Good luck to all and hunt safely.

Perched up in a white oak, needed this stand for next week in Missouri, not particularly confident in the spot.

Set up with the old smoke pole where I have pictures of doe coming through every morning and a good buck every so often.

Re: LFTT 11/3/18 - 11/03/18 11:50 AM

I'm set up at trail intersection where a secondary point runs into a main ridge. S wind. Saw two shooters on the way in on the road.

Re: LFTT 11/3/18 - 11/03/18 11:53 AM

I just shot a buck at 18 yards. I could not see my pins very well but it sounded good. I don't see the arrow so I didn't get a pass through. I guess I'll wait on a doe now to kill some time.

Re: LFTT 11/3/18 - 11/03/18 11:57 AM

Present ...I was here a little before daylight. I am sitting a field that separates some thick pines and a cutover

25 feet up a tree here in Coosa county hardwoods. Knocked some turkeys off their roost walking in. Had a skwerl in my tree above me. It felt like the whole tree was coming down when he moved. Literally just heard some hens sounding off right behind me.
