Bow hunting youth weekend at WMA

Am I reading this right. Can’t bow hunt during youth weekend?

correct. from what i understand cant even be out scouting

I'm pretty sure you just can't hunt on management areas. Private property and national forest should be ok. There is a special opportunity hunt on black warrior I believe that's the only exception.

That's not what the WMA regs say. Simply says it is unlawful to hunt on youth hunts without wearing hunter orange.

There are some that say you can't bow hunt on youth weekend, like Barbour County.

I think it's going to be WMA specific.
