Update on found buck after 3 years...got the arrow!

Went back this morning and brought the metal detector. Arrow was under leaves no more than 10 yards away from where I found the antlers.



I consider it a recovery even if it's a little late!

Never imagined I would see those antlers again. This buck significantly outscores any buck I've ever gotten on a trail cam in that area.

Bases are 6 1/2. I plugged in his measurements and scored him the best I could and he came up with 162 after deductions. I'm going to get someone from the state to score him probably in the next week or so.

Definitely have a taxidermist restore the antlers and mount him on a plaque with the arrow you recovered. Great job finding that!
