Hunting a small food plot on top of a ridge in some thinned pines. No one's touched this spot yet. Saw a STUD 8pt. two weeks ago crossing the road heading up in here about 30 minutes after dark coming out from another spot. I missed a stud in here 2 years ago with my rifle.

Hunting the edge of a cutover, rut should be taking place here. Have a trail 25 yds in front of me that I put doe estrus on and using the can call right now, just heard a shot in the distance Good luck to all

Had a good day. Watched couple od spikes chase a small doe for a while. Cameras are lighting up with all kinds of good stuff.
