What is the latest you have set up a ground blind during the season.

I always put them out a couple weeks in advance and let the deer get use to them. I've never put one up and hunted out of the the same day. Sorry I can't help.

Ive sat them up and killed deer 50 yards from them in the forest

I've set them up that day of the hunt for my brother & wife. Both have had deer come in within 15yards. The key is proper placement to me.
