Killed this 9 point a few weeks ago in Illinois with my stick and string on my last day. Saw over 20 bucks in 6 days including 3 bigger than this one, one 10 point that was way bigger that was rut crazed and in range but I couldnt close the deal. I got to see bucks do just about everything bucks are supposed to do during the rut. I grunted them in, rattled them in, watched them fight, and watched a absolute stud run 5 other bucks off from his doe only 150 yards away. Had a 120" 8 point walk within 10 feet of me, look at me, smell me and went right on back to cruising without a care in the world i was there.
